Murray Walker – Age 95
Murray Walker is a retired journalist and Grand Prix commentator better known for covering BBC’s Formula 1 from 1976 to 1996. He also commentated for ITV from 1997 to 2001, and soon his fans branded him “Murrayisms” due to his authoritative voice and enthusiasm. Many people consider Walker as the best sports commentator there ever was, and he also occasionally makes appearances on Channel 4, BBC, and Sky Sports F1. In 2005, he went back to broadcast partially despite having gone into retirement following the “2001 United States Grand Prix.” He also authored Murray Walker’s Formula One Heroes.
