Annie Ross – 88
Annie Ross is best known for being a member of Lambert, Hendricks & Ross jazz trio. She is a singer and actress active in entertainment since 1937 when she won a radio contest with an MGM contract as the prize. From then on, Annie made acting and singing performances in numerous projects. She sang on The Bonnie Banks o’ Loch Lomond, when she was only seven, on Our Gang Follies of 1938, and in 1943 had a role in Presenting Lily Mars. She quit her education at 10th grade and focused on her career in entertainment, while in 2009, Annie was honored with the ASCAP Jazz Wall of Fame.
