Donna Martell – 90
Donna Martell is a former TV and movie actress, whose career began in 1947 and lasted until 1983. Her debut role was in a western titled Apache Rose and Donna had many roles throughout the ‘40s in Universal movies. In the ’50, she focused on TV more and was in Cavalcade of America, Cheyenne, and The Range Rider. A particularly notable movie in Donna’s portfolio was the Project Moonbase, a black-and-white sci-fi that depicted space travel ‘realistically’ and presented the audience with a version of the future in which women were equal to men in authority and responsibility.
