Simon became known worldwide for his sarcastic sense of humor as a judge on the singing competition American Idol.  Cowell might be an expert in criticizing talent show goofs, but he’s probably his own investment banker as well. Having invested in several different mansions throughout the past years, he knows how to spot a good bargain, and he purchased J-Lo’s former house in Beverly Hills for $12 million.
