Ellen DeGeneres once owned this lavish six-bedroom Santa Barbara mansion dubbed “The Villa” that boasted of a swimming pool, media room, and the most gorgeous dining area. She decided to offload the estate, listing it initially for $45 million, then reducing the price to $39.5 million. It finally sold in March 2017 for $34 million. Netflix executive Ted Sarandos was revealed as the buyer of the 16.88-acre estate. DeGeneres is an avid Los Angeles luxury real estate flipper and she often sells houses that have been fully-furnished, explaining the hefty price tags.
