Diana Serra Cary – Age 99
Many would recognize Diana Serra Carry as she started out her career young as the famous Baby Peggy after being discovered in Century Studios on Sunset Boulevard, Hollywood. She starred in more than 150 short films for the Century Films Corporation and received over 1.2 million fan letters. Diana was also dubbed as The Million Dollar Baby after getting a $1.5 million net worth—which is worth approximately $22 million in 2018! Sadly, Diana ended her career after appearing as an extra in the film Having a Wonderful Time. In honor of Diana’s 100th birthday, TCM screened the documentary Baby Peggy: The Elephant in the Room.
