Valentina Cortese – Age 95

Valentina Cortese became popular after appearing in the François Truffaut’s hit film Day for Night. Her portrayal of the role of Séverine earned her a BAFTA award for Best Supporting Actress. She appeared in numerous films before becoming popular and then landed a role as a young star in Les Misérables. She soon moved to Britain and America, which made her career grow immensely. Valentina ended her career in 1993 after appearing in the film Sparrow. She only had one son—Jackie Basehart—who unfortunately died in 2015 in his home after fighting a rare disease for many years, with repeated stays at hospitals.
