Nehemiah Persoff – Age 99
Nehemiah Persoff became popular as an actor after he migrated from Israel to America to start his own career. Before successfully building up an impressive portfolio, Nehemiah served the United States during the second world war and worked as an electrician. His popularity earned him roles in hit films including Some Like It Hot, Yenti, and An American Tail. His career spanned over 50 years and has appeared in over 200 TV series, films, and plays. Sadly, he ended his career in 1999 after he voiced Papa Mousekewitz in the film An American Tail: The Mystery of the Night Monster.
