Nobby Stiles – Age 76
Retired footballer Nobby Stiles represented England for five years and he was there in 1966 when they won the FIFA World Cup. He had to wear dentures after his actual set of teeth was knocked out while playing. For the greatest part of his career, he played for Preston North End, Manchester United, and Middlesbrough. Soon after, he took managerial positions, running teams like the West Bromwich Albion, Vancouver Whitecaps, and Preston North End. In 2013, it was discovered that the former football player suffered from prostate cancer and as of 2016, he’s been receiving assistance from a dementia caregiver after reaching an advanced stage of mental decline.
