Robert Mugabe – Age 95
Robert Gabriel Mugabe was one of the longest-serving Presidents who led Zimbabwe from 1980 after the country attained its independence. Previously, Mugabe worked as a school teacher and later served as the country’s Prime minister for seven years. Mugabe established a quasi-dictatorship promoting graft and subsequently encouraging the abuse of human rights. He is also criticized for ruining the country’s economy which had a significant impact on the nation’s ‘90s HIV epidemic. After ruling for 37 years, at the age of 94, a military coup coerced his resignation, removing him from the office in 2018.
