June Brown – Age 92
June Brown portrayed the character Dot Cotton in BBC’s EastEnders, and in April 2018, she signed a contract renewal to appear in the show’s reboot up until 2019. Her contribution to drama and charity earned her an MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire) and she also clinched a 2009 BAFTA nomination. The BAFTA nomination actually made her the second performer to ever snag the nomination for appearing in a TV soap. Brown has also done some directorial work within the entertainment industry, and for instance, she directed Double D – a stage play.
