Caren Marsh-Doll is a dancer and actress, best known as the stand-in for Judy Garland onThe Wizard of Oz and Ziegfeld Girl. She specialized in tap and modern dance and worked on movies by MGM from 1937 until 1956, such as That Night in Rio, Wild Harvest, Seven Sweethearts, and many more. Later on, Caren’s career gravitated more towards dancing, and in 1956, she quit acting altogether and went on to teach dancing classes. Caren appears at conventions, reunions, and movie festivals that feature The Wizard of Oz, and teaches dancing to this day.
