Catherine Deneuve –The Last Metro, born in 1943

Catherine Deneuve is an actress best known for her frequent collaborations with Roman Polanski, François Truffaut, and Luis Buñuel. She was also the face of the French Republic national symbol – Marianne. Catherine’s most celebrated role was probably on The Last Metro, while she was also on Indochine, Repulsion, Belle de Jour, Tristana, The Hunger, and many more. Her more recent work includes roles on Asterix and Obelix: God Save Britannia, On My Way, In The Courtyard, and in 2018, Bad Seeds and Claire Darling. Outside of movies, Catherine is a designer and has her own brand of perfume called Deneuve.
