Lori Singer – Footloose, Born in 1957

Lori Singer is an actress who was already an aspiring cellist before her career in acting even began. Her music lessons were taught by Leonard Rose, at the Juilliard School, and Lori was already a soloist with the famous Oregon Symphony when she was 13. She also performed at Carnegie Hall and was hired for several short films, before coming to prominence and being cast in Fame. From then on, Lori had roles on Equinox, Warlock, Trouble in Mind, but her most prominent portrayal was probably on Footloose, opposite Kevin Bacon.
