Shirley Manson is a musician, songwriter, and singer, whose popularity rose when she started performing as the lead singer Garbage – an alternative rock band. Before Garbage, Manson sang back-up with Goodbye Mr. Mackenzie, was the lead singer for Angelfish, and played the keyboards. Shirley, who still looks great in her 50s, admits that she wears makeup to repel and not to attract.
