Melissa Gilbert – Little House on the Prairie, Born in 1964

Melissa Gilbert began acting at a young age, in the ‘60s. She mostly appeared in TV commercials and guest-starred on shows. Her most notable role was that of Laura Ingalls Wilder in the ’70s TV series, Little House on the Prairie, while she was also on The Miracle Worker and The Diary of Anne Frank. Melissa later voiced Batgirl and Barbara Gordon on the Batman: The Animated Series and competed on Dancing with the Stars in 2012. She also released an autobiography book where she talked about her many struggles with vices over the years.
