Kirk Douglas – $3.5 Million, Palm Springs

The house where the actor Kirk Douglas once lived sold for $3.5 million in 2016. The 4,000-square-foot estate features five bedrooms (including two master suites), eight bathrooms, and a swimming pool. The Douglas family had used the mansion as a retreat for about 42 years until they sold the deluxe house in 1999.

The house was designed in 1954  and still retains some of the original features. The house reportedly sold above the asking price. The 102-year old Kirk Douglas is one of the last surviving stars of the Golden Age of Hollywood. He is reportedly the oldest blogger in the world.
