Martina Gedeck – The Lives of Others, Born in 1961

Martina Gedeck’s role as Martha Klein in 2001’s Mostly Martha granted her an international breakthrough and a nomination for Best Actress in the European Film Awards of 2002. In 2007 she starred in the renowned movie Lives of Others, which won the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film.

Gedeck, who turns 59 years old in September 2020, hasn’t lost her shine throughout all these years. Her firm and bright complexion and pleasantly warm smile make her seem like a woman two decades younger despite being a pretty perseverant actress. Within 2020 Gedeck will appear in two more TV productions, namely Oktoberfest 1900 in September, followed by Wunderschön one month afterward.
