Rita Pavone – La Partita di Pallone, Born in 1945

Rita Pavone is an Italian ballad and rock singer who also had a brief acting career back in the ’60s. Even in her music career, Pavone saw her most successful years in that era. So far, she has released thirteen studio albums, including her eponymous album in 1963. It included her world-famous hit La Partita di Pallone.

Strangely, almost all of Pavone’s acting parts involved roles named Rita. She has thrived in her personal life, having been married to fellow singer/actor Teddy Reno since 1968. Today, Pavone is 74 years old, and you’ll hardly see her beautiful and freckled face in tons of makeup.
