Ali MacGraw – Goodbye Colombus, born in 1939
Do you know many actresses who had managed to become Hollywood sensations with just three movies? If you don’t, then it’s about time you heard about Ali MacGraw. After her debut film, Goodbye Colombus, she starred in the 1970 movie Love Story, and the rest is history. Just one film later, she had won two Golden Globe Awards and an Academy Award nomination. While everyone thought though that she would continue making money as an actress, she retired after just a handful of films. What a pity! MacGraw’s most recent on-screen appearance was on the 2017 documentary called Passion & Poetry: Rodeo Time.
