Another superstitious athlete that we have on this list is Turk Wendell, the former relief pitcher who was a part of Major League Baseball. Although he only has one superstition, it’s one that has caught the attention of many.
Apparently, Turk would brush his teeth in the middle of every inning. This routine of his is so peculiar that he’s even been dubbed by Men’s Fitness as the most superstitious athlete the world has ever seen. We bet he’s not even worrying about cavities now that he’s 52 because of this habit he developed while playing.
