You know how some tables at restaurants and bars have hooks attached to them where you can hang your purse? Well, they’re not entirely there for hygienic purposes. They’re also placed there for superstitious purposes. Star Jones certainly thinks so since she never lets her purse touch the floor.
She believes that when a purse is placed on the ground, it can bring a lifelong streak of bad luck to its owner in terms of finance.
