Keith Richards – Must be the one to break the crust

What we mean is the crust of a shepherd’s pie. Yep, Keith Richards likes to have shepherd’s pie before every single show of The Rolling Stones. He also insists that he’s got to be the one to break the crust every time.

If somebody else cracks the meat pie, Keith sees it as useless and a new one must be brought to him straightaway. In fact, the 75-year-old English musician won’t start the show until this is accomplished. His bandmates have learned it the hard way. So, the head of security always makes sure that the shepherd’s pie is protected at all cost, or else risk a deduction from their paycheck.
