Cate Blanchett’s performance as Galadriel in The Lord Of The Rings is very well remembered. One of the things she liked most about the role was that she would get to keep her prosthetic elf ears. In fact, she has them on display at her home.

Blanchett thinks the ears bring her good luck. We can’t really dispute her claim. Iconic roles like in the films The Aviator and Blue Jasmine have earned her Academy Awards. Blanchett now has a net worth estimated at $85 million. Maybe we should get some elf ears, too.
