The 42-year-old Alexander gained recognition as vampire Eric in the series True Blood and as Brad on Generation Kill, among other roles. The Swedish actor received an honorary degree from the Leeds Beckett University where he used to attend. In more recent times, people know Alexander for his role in the star-studded hit TV show, Big Little Lies. He is set to star in Godzilla vs. Kong in 2020.
