Hugh Hefner & Christie Hefner at Age 50
Hugh Hefner was a world-famous magazine publisher who founded the iconic Playboy publication and was its editor-in-chief. He also owned the well-known Playboy mansion and resided there until his death, on September 27, 2017, aged 91. Hugh was married three times and also had five partners. He left behind four children, including Christie who is his eldest, born in 1952. Christie also worked for Playboy Enterprises as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman. Playboy publications attracted much attention throughout the last seven decades and also provoked obscenity charges more than once. Playboy’s very first issue in 1953 featured revealing photos of none other than Marilyn Monroe. It sold over fifty thousand copies.
