Vera Lynn – Age 101

Vera Lynn gained popularity as a singer whose musical recordings and performances were huge during World War II. Her charming voice and beautiful smile helped soldiers relieve their stress and pain during the war. Aside from singing, Vera also appeared in numerous films including Rhythm Serenade, We’ll Meet Again and One Exciting Night. With her fame, Circa Survive vocalist Anthony Green released a song titled Vera Lynn to commemorate her legacy as a singer. Vera received two nominations for the Classic Brit Awards for Female Artist of the Year and Album of the Year in 2018. In the same year, Vera also received her Lifetime Achievement Award.
