Though she originally wanted to become a music star, Janis Paige came to prominence as an actress, after making a deal with Warner Bros. After appearing in films such as The Time and Bathing Beauty, she decided to take her shot at musical stage plays and she made her Broadway debut in 1951 on Remains To Be Seen.
