Jacques Chirac – Age 86

Former French politician Jacques Chirac served as the capital’s mayor, the nation’s prime minister, and finally the head of state. Chirac attended the École Nationale d’Administration, and the ivy league Harvard University before joining the workforce as a civil servant. Once he joined politics, he held several offices in the French government, including serving as the Minister of Agriculture as well as the Minister of the Interior. Chirac left office as the president of France in 2007 with a myriad of corruption allegations and he eventually received a suspended sentence for his crimes, in 2011.
