Jimmy Greaves – Age 79

Former professional English soccer player James Peter Greaves ranks as England’s fourth highest goalscorer during their international plays. The Football Hall of Famer started out playing with Chelsea in 1957 before also playing for West Ham United, A.C Milan, and Tottenham Hotspur, among other English teams. In 1958, Greaves and Irene Barden walked down the aisle but soon initiated separation proceedings. The bone of contention was Greaves’ alcoholism but the couple seemed to have worked out their differences and they reunited within three months. At 79, Greaves isn’t in the best physical condition and in 2015, a stroke took away his ability to walk, confining him to a wheelchair.
