Max Baer Jr. was active in Hollywood from 1960 until 1991 and is best known for his role of Jethro Bodine on The Beverly Hillbillies. He is the show’s last surviving cast member now, as he was close friends with Donna Douglas and Buddy Ebsen, until their deaths. Max was also on Goldilocks and the Three Bears, Maverick, Cheyenne, 77 Sunset Strip, and he is the writer, producer, and director of The Wild McCullochs, in which he also had a role. Besides his work in entertainment, Baer also invested money in a gambling business, sometime during the ‘80s. In 2005, he appeared as himself on Biography.
